Dapto Celebrates Title After Titanic Struggle

DAPTO are celebrating a senior netball premiership with the Titans claiming the A4 title by beating Southern Suburbs by 10 goals at Fred Finch Park.

With half the side made up of under 21 players, Dapto finished the season strongly and played one of their best matches in the grand final, winning 41-31.

Dapto led by five goals at quarter-time, extended it to 13 goals at the end of the second and third terms and went on to post an impressive win.

Goalkeeper Lane Marcus was Dapto's outstanding player, intercepting a number of dangerous passes and proving a key player in defence.
