OUTRIGHT fourth spot in the Newcastle open netball championship will be on offer when Mattara and Junction Hotel go head-to-head today.

The round-11 rivals share fourth on 17 points, but the winner today will increase their chances of a semi-final appearance with the play-offs just four weeks away.

Mattara won 26-21 when the two sides last met.

Equal leaders Gazas Sportz battle sixth-placed Temperzone and second-placed Nags Head take on BNC Cricketers 2, who are seventh.

BNC Cricketers 1, who share the lead with Gazas on 24 points, play last-placed Hotel Delany.
