PROMOTED side Nags Head extended their undefeated streak to six games with a 44-34 win over Hotel Delany in round seven of the Newcastle open netball championship on Saturday.

The newcomers have not lost since a 35-15 thrashing at the hands of unbeaten competition leaders BNC Cricketers 1 in the opening round.

BNC Cricketers 1 lead on 19 points after beating other new side Temperzone 38-28 on Saturday.

Temperzone led 10-7 at the first break but trailed 22-17 at half-time then 33-22 at three-quarter-time.

Gazas Sportz, who were 41-24 winners over Mattara, and Nags Head share second place on 17 points. Junction Hotel beat BNC Cricketers 2 on forfeit.
