Uk Warm-up For Aussies

THE Australian netball team is happy to get a late call-up to the international series in England as a warm-up for this year's world championship.

England Netball confirmed Australia's inclusion for the May series involving New Zealand, England and England A.

Coach Norma Plummer sees it as vital preparation for the Worlds in November.

"I want to get over there for preparation because once you take the team out of Australia, it's certainly fantastic for building the closeness within the ranks," Plummer said.

"And we need that at the moment because we are still pretty green together."
