NETBALL needs to find another Liz Ellis and find her quick. As well as being a great player, Ellis was a great advocate of her game. She did plenty to push the case for the sport. A natural on television and always good for an interview, Ellis was one of Australian sport's most liked figures. Some of her opponents may not have liked her in-your-face style of defending on the netball court, but her legion of fans loved every minute of it.
